From June 30th to July 3rd, the Freddy Powers Parkinson Organization is holding a fundraising event at Carl's Corner in Hillsboro, TX. Beginning on the night of June 30th and continuing on the nights of the 1st and 2nd of July, the event then becomes an all-day affair on the 3rd of July.

Featuring various guests including Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Ray Price as well as many more, this fundraiser marks a continuation in great things happening for MapMusic this year.

Accompanied by the documentary crew who are following him for the entire year of 2008 in the hopes of showing how Parkinson's disease alters one’s life - incl. struggles with insurance companies, the inability to operate at a regular job, side effects from the medication etc - Robbie will be meeting with Freddy and Catherine Powers, heads of the Freddy Powers Parkinson Organization, to discuss various subjects relating to Robbie and Freddy’s fight against this debilitating disease.

Additionally, Robbie will be taking the stage at the event, sharing his voice and artistry alongside these veteran performers, in the hopes of garnering attention for his cause and his own organization.
